2. What information do we collect?
Account Information
- Email address (for registration and authentication)
- Name (optional)
- Authentication token (JWT), stored in secure storage on your device
Audio recordings
- Audio recordings that you start yourself using the app
- Recordings are sent to our servers via a secure HTTPS connection
- Recordings are processed for transcription and conversation analysis
- Recordings are automatically deleted 7 days after processing
Local data (on your device)
- Drafts saved locally on your device
- Language preference and app settings
Technical Specifications
- IP address (via server connection)
- Device type and operating system (for technical support)

4. Do we share your information?
We never sell your personal information to third parties.
We use:
- Hosting providers for running our servers
- AI and transcription services for processing audio recordings
All third parties are bound by a data processing agreement and may use your data solely for the agreed-upon purposes.
5. International transfer
If data is processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
6. Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transfers
- Secure token storage on the device (via expo-secure-store)
- Access security for our servers
- Automatic deletion of audio files after 7 days
7. Retention periods

8. Your Rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have the following rights:

- Correction — having incorrect information corrected
- Deletion — Have your account and data deleted
- Restriction — temporarily suspend processing
- Portability — receiving your data in a commonly used format
- Objection — objecting to processing based on legitimate interest

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
9. Local storage on your device
The Reppic app uses:
- Secure storage (expo-secure-store): for the secure storage of your login token
- Local storage (AsyncStorage): for drafts and settings
We do not use tracking cookies or ad trackers.
10. Microphone
The app requests access to your device's microphone solely for the purpose of recording calls that you initiate yourself. The microphone is never used in the background without your active intervention.
11. Children
Our service is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us at privacy@reppic.ai.
12. Changes
We may update this privacy policy. If there are any significant changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. The current version is always available at https://reppic.ai/privacy-app.
